Prior to running the first organisational backup (of email, one drive, sharepoint etc.) it would be handy to get an assessment on the following;
Number of users in the organisation
volume of data in the M365 organisation
volume of data by selected users/entities
Estimated time based on above to run the first backup / later this would give an estimate on restoration time by volume size
I know the above are seperate queries but these are things that will obviously impact the cost and initial backup time (always the longest)
I think where i was going is, on setup set the expectation on how long it will take for the inital backup (estimate) and the same for restore (if you where to restore it would take x) using the word estimate (this could be a widget on the dashboard) that would give you an RTO estimate. we would then couple that with upgrade to premium storage to restore faster etc..

Usage for Exchange, Sharepoint and OneDrive is available in the admin portal, so it's possible there is a simple API to pull this from - ie no need to actually go and calculate it.
